A Hamilton man is on the list of Niagara Regional Police’s most wanted suspects.
Every week the police service puts out a list of its most wanted suspects in hopes the public has information about their whereabouts. There are currently 66 people on the list mostly from Niagara Region. Charges are usually comparatively minor such as failure to comply with court orders, drug possession, or mischief. Others are more severe including several wanted for assault, uttering threats, car theft and fraud.
Among these names, is one from Hamilton, Jamal Bell, 37. Bell is wanted on charges of uttering threats and failure to comply with a court order. Police did not specify the details of the allegations. He was added to the list back on Nov. 16. He’s the only person on the list from outside Niagara Region.
Anyone who has information about Bell’s whereabouts or the whereabouts of anyone else on the list can call Niagara Regional Police at (905) 688-4111 and request to speak to “dispatch” or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
The full list is available online. Police note everyone on it is innocent until proven guilty.
