Hold and Secure has been lifted a Bernie Custis SS. HPS continues to investigate offsite. The safety of students and staff is paramount and as such Hold and Secure was activated as a precaution. #HamOnt @HWDSB

Bernie Custis Secondary School is currently under a hold and secure order, Hamilton Police tweeted out Friday (Nov. 15) afternoon.

Police say they are on scene dealing with an ‘offsite’ dispute between a student and nonstudent.

Staff and students in the school are safe, police assure the public.
