The Hamilton Bulldogs announced Monday that the Ontario Hockey League club signed goaltender David Egorov to a standard player agreement.
The Manotick, Ontario native was drafted in the fourth round, 64th overall, in the most recent OHL priority draft. It was the earliest the Bulldogs have selected a goaltender in franchise history.
“The Hamilton Bulldogs are very excited to receive a commitment from David Egorov,” said Bulldogs president and general manager Steve Staios. “David brings a tremendous level of talent to the crease in addition to a great character. We look forward to seeing David grow into another member of a strong goaltending legacy with the Hamilton Bulldogs”.
