Hamilton bridge subject of police search – “no public safety concern”

Hamilton Police are searching the area around the McQueston High Level Bridge as part of an ongoing investigation.

There is no word if the search is related to Wednesday’s murder in downtown Hamilton, a few kilometres to the southeast but police are emphasizing there is “no public safety concern.”

“We appreciate your cooperation and understanding, as traffic in the area may experience impacts.”
