Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a 62-year-old man who has been missing for four days.

John Edwards, of no fixed address, was last seen around noon on June 11 in the area of Governor’s Road and Ogilvie Street in Dundas.

Police say he is known to take walks through local trails and parks and is familiar with the area, but it is unusual for him not to return home. There is growing concern for his well-being.

Investigators are urging residents, business owners and staff at local coffee shops and fast food locations such as Tim Hortons and McDonald’s to keep an eye out for him.

Edwards is described as a white man, with a height of about five-foot-eleven.  He is over 200 pounds, with a medium to heavy build, shoulder-length brown hair and light-coloured eyes. He may be wearing baggy shorts, a striped blue t-shirt, white socks, running shoes and possibly a baseball-style hat.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Division 30 staff sergeant at 905-546-3886.
