Four unidentified men behind four break-ins at Hamilton Mountain businesses are wanted.
Two of the quartet were spotted on security cameras breaking into a business near Nebo Road and Rymal Road East shortly after 11 p.m. on Nov. 18, Hamilton Police report.
The area in the Hammon neighbourhood on the south side of the city is home to several large business plazas, though police did not share which businesses specifically were hit.
Once inside, the men targeted the cash registers and point-of-sale machines. The pair tried to break into a second business but failed. Finally, they struck a third business and again targeted the registers. They then left the area.
Shortly after midnight, they appeared again at a car dealership near Barton Street East and the Redhill Valley Parkway, about ten kilometres north of the first scene. This area in Nashdale is also home to a large commercial zone.
The men managed to break into the dealership building and stole the point-of-sale system again.
