East Hamilton intersection closed after pedestrian struck by vehicle

Hamilton police have closed an intersection in the city’s east end after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The individual was transported to the hospital after sustaining “serious injuries,” according to police.
Kenilworth was closed between Cambridge and Cannon for the investigation.
Update:
Hamilton police say the victim was a 71-year-old man. He remains in hospital with serious injuries. Kenilworth has been re-opened.
