Update: Drones deployed in the search for missing Hamilton woman

Update: Missing 86-year-old, Kim Heng Kim, has been found safe and is in the process of reuniting with her family, Hamilton Police said in a post at 8:41 a.m.

“A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful community for uniting in the search for this missing woman. This is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community,” police said.

Police were searching for Kim after she went missing around 1:20 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 24), Hamilton Police said in a press release.

She was last seen in the area of Highland Road West and Second Road West in Hamilton around 4 p.m.

Early this morning police asked residents to check their property before they leave home. 

They asked people to keep an eye out. 

Hamilton Police also said they are deploying drones in the area of Highland Road West and Second Road West.

Kim is described as a woman of Asian descent, five-foot-two-inches tall and medium build. She has white and gray hair.

She walks with a cane and was last seen wearing a white and black sweater.

Hamilton Police also ask area property owners to check their video camera footage.
