Driver reportedly stalking women in Hamilton, man faces criminal harassment charges

A man in a black Honda Civic has been charged after reportedly followed women in Hamilton.
Last week, Hamilton Police asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver who reportedly followed a woman in the Barnesdale Avenue South and King Street East area near Tim Hortons Field.
The woman said she was followed and approached by a man driving the Honda Civic around 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 8, Hamilton Police said.
After a brief interaction, the vehicle left the area in an unknown direction. No physical contact was initiated during the incident and no one was physically injured, police said.
In an update on Feb. 13, Hamilton Police said they have arrested a man in connection to the incident.
Issa Ahmad Aldeeb, 35 of Hamilton faces a charge of criminal harassment, police said.
Additional victims have stepped forward, prompting ongoing police investigations. Hamilton Police believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging them to contact police.
