Disneyland dreams come true for Hamilton retiree who won lotto 

A Hamilton retiree couldn’t believe that $114 actually was $114,034.70 in lotto winnings.

Susan Wasylenko said when she first checked her ticket at the store, she thought she won $114. “When I noticed the extra numbers, I was so excited,” she was quoted as saying while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I’ve been playing Poker Lotto since it first came out.”

Wasylenko won a total $114,034.70: the Poker Lotto All In  jackpot was worth $109,034.70 on July 27 and she also won $5,000 on the instant portion of her Poker Lotto play. 

The 66-year-old said her daughter “jumped up and down” after she immediately told her about the win. 

She plans to use her winnings to visit Disneyland with her grandchildren. “It’s nice to be able to take a trip without having to save,” she said in a press release.

She purchased the winning ticket at Prospect Variety on Main Street in Hamilton.
