A 57-year-old father from Hamilton is celebrating after winning $100,000 with the Instant Plinko game from the Ontario lottery.
Stephen (Adam) Champ said he is an occasional lotto player.
“I purchase tickets on a whim,” he said.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes. I called my daughter to be a second set of eyes and she told me to check it using the OLG App. We were both in disbelief and utter joy.”
Adam plans to save and share his winnings with his children. He also wants to travel to Australia to visit his sister.
The winning ticket was purchased at Stinson Grocery in Hamilton.
Instant Plinko is a $5 game that combines popular scratch play with prizes revealed in-store by an animated chip drop on the lottery terminal screen. Players can also win a chance to drop a chip on a real Plinko Board at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
