Concern deepens for missing Hamilton man unreachable since Jan. 10

Growing worry grips both family and police as 11 days pass since the disappearance of a Hamilton man.

Hamilton Police say 49-year-old Michael Robert Smith was last seen by family on the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 10 in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

Smith’s family and police are attempting to locate him and are concerned for his well-being.

Investigators describe Smith as a white man; approximately 5-foot-10 in height, with a weight of 160 pounds.

Smith has short hair with a mix of brown and grey. He has hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a grey jacket and brown work boots.

Additionally, Smith is known to frequent the Hamilton Public Library and the area of Battlefield Park.

Hamilton Police are asking anyone with information about Smith or know of his whereabouts to contact the Division 20 on-duty Staff Sergeant at 905-546-2963.
