Commuters travelling from Hamilton to Burlington and vice versa could be faced with delays Tuesday..
Due to on-going protests in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en people, protestors have forced Metrolinx to halt GO Train services between Aldershot GO Station and Hamilton GO Station indefinitely.
The protestors announced they intend to interfere with the GO Train service until the OPP leaves Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

After protestors refused to dismantle the blockade near Belleville Ontario, the OPP dismantled the blockade and made several arrests.
In response, a new protest has replaced it near Hamilton that has resulted in the shutdown of the tracks between Aldershot and Hamilton GO.
