Update: Collision prompts traffic delays near major Hamilton intersection

One person died following a vehicle collision in Hamilton today (Sept.28).

Hamilton Police say that they’re actively investigating a collision that occurred close to Hamilton’s Farmers’ Market this evening (Sept. 28).

According to a tweet that was put out at 4:09 p.m. the collision took place at the intersection of James St. and York Blvd.

The circumstances surrounding the collision and those involved remain unknown at this time.

Traffic in the vicinity is expected to be affected, and authorities advise commuters to seek alternative routes to avoid delays.
