Long weekend celebrations are expected in Dundas tomorrow night (Sept 4) as the City of Hamilton plans a professional Labour Day fireworks display.

The City of Hamilton together with the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club are hosting Labour Day fireworks at the Dundas Driving Park, located at 71 Cross St. in Dundas.

The event starts at 5 p.m. and is entirely free for admission with cash donations being accepted for the Rotary Club at the entrance gate.

The firework display is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.

There will be live music as well as food trucks on site. Coffee, snacks, and glow sticks are available for purchase prior to the beginning of the fireworks display.

There is limited parking available at the park, but attendees are encouraged to use any one of the Dundas municipal parking lots.
