Arkells bringing Hamilton to Canada Olympic House with performances in Paris next month

Team Canada’s home-away-from-home at the Paris Olympics will have a Hamilton sound with seven-time JUNO Award winning Arkells signed on to play the Canada Olympic House August 5-6.

“We’ve never been to Paris, France before, and this seems like the perfect time,” the band tweeted Thursday. “We got the call and are teaming up with Air Canada to play Canada Olympic House.”

The venue, a gathering place for family, friends and fans of Canada’s Olympic athletes as they compete during the Games, is located inside the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, in Paris’s iconic Parc de la Villette, and just south of the Stade de France – home of the Olympic closing ceremonies.

The facility offers Canadian food and drink and hospitality and Team Canada events on the big screen and on August 5-6, performances from the Arkells, who called on fans making the trip to Paris to “make memories with our Team Canada athletes.”
