A two day art festival is making its way to Hamilton this month.

The 26th Annual Dundas Studio Tour is back on  Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, and the tour will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., showcasing work of 30 artists across 7 studio locations in and around Dundas.

This year’s theme, “Changing Shapes,” is a reflection of the dynamic nature of art, mirroring the transformations that occur in life itself.

“Whether it’s artists experimenting with different forms or media, altering patterns, interpreting landscapes differently, or potters exploring new forms, art is never stagnant,” said Allyson Wenzowski, one of the organizers.

As autumn nears, visitors can also expect to see fall colors and the explore the Valley Town.

“Whether you’re treating yourself, searching for the perfect gift, or interested in custom artwork, this event provides a chance to meet the makers behind the creations,” Wenzowski added.

The Dundas Studio Tour has been a longstanding tradition since 1997, and it continues to evolve, just like the art it celebrates. With new studios and artists joining the fold, each year bringing different perspectives to the tour.

This event is free and accessible to attendees of all ages.
