All COVID-19 outbreaks declared at Hamilton long-term care facilities: Jan 18 to 24

The following is a summary of COVID-19 outbreaks declared by Hamilton Public Health at long-term care facilities in the city during the week of January 18 to 24.

New outbreaks were declared at the following facilities over the past week:

  • Kingsberry Place Seniors Residence at 1221 Limeridge Rd E, Hamilton – 2 cases (staff). Outbreak declared on January 18.
  • The Carlisle Retirement Residence at 467 Main St E, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 19.
  • Chartwell Willowgrove Long Term Care Home at 1217 Old Mohawk Rd, Hamilton – 1 case (resident). Outbreak declared on January 19.
  • Ridgeview Long Term Care Home at 385 Highland Rd W, Stoney Creek – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 20.
  • Amica Dundas at 50 Hatt St, Dundas – 1 case (visitor/other). Outbreak declared on January 20.
  • Extendicare Hamilton at 90 Chedmac Dr, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 22.
  • Chartwell Deerview Crossing Retirement Residence at 460 Rymal Rd W, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 23.
  • Amica Stoney Creek at 135 King St E, Stoney Creek – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 23.
