92 speeding tickets issued by Hamilton Police over Thanksgiving weekend

Hamilton Police were out in full force this Thanksgiving weekend looking to keep the roads safe.

Police issued 216 traffic-related tickets during its annual Thanksgiving Long Weekend Enforcement project.

“We remain committed to ensuring the safety of everyone on the road,” said Hamilton Police, who announced the results on X (formerly Twitter).

Hamilton Police set up 12 R.I.D.E lanes around the city over the holiday weekend. A total of 403 vehicles were pulled over during its enforcement efforts.

Drivers with a heavy foot on the gas were targeted as police issued over 92 speeding tickets.

Police also issued three impaired driving charges during the three-day holiday weekend.
