UPDATE: 5-vehicle crash closes lane on Highway 403 in Hamilton

Update: Just before 9 a.m. OPP said all vehicles had been towed and all lanes reopened. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and potential charges, police said.

A five-vehicle crash blocked a lane on Highway 403 in Hamilton Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the crash in the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 east of the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway at 6:12 a.m., OPP said.
One passenger was sent to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Police said the left lane of Highway 403 was blocked.
Tow trucks were expected to clear the vehicles, police said.
