4th most expensive home for sale in Canada’s big cities is in Hamilton

A massive and luxurious home in Hamilton has made a list of the most expensive homes for sale in Canada.
The list, from real estate brokerage Point2homes, includes some of Canada’s most luxurious homes for sale — the most expensive in Vancouver listed at $59.8 million.
The homes feature amenities most of us can only dream of such as a nine-hole golf course, an infinity pool that is heated year-round, equestrian facilities, a lighted tennis court and a floating boat dock.
“These property features seem unreal, but Canada’s most expensive homes for sale boast all of them, and many more,” Point2homes notes.
The Hamilton home, at 1272 Fiddlers Green Rd., Ancaster, is fourth on a list of homes across Canada’s largest cities.
The home was listed for $29 million on Feb. 24 this year. As of Oct. 4, it hadn’t been sold.
The luxury mansion is set on a 5.2-acre property with a 17-foot-deep aerated pond, according to the listing from Royal LePage State Realty.
There is more than 26,000 square-feet of living space in the sprawling contemporary bungalow, with a lofted nanny’s quarters above, a four-car garage plus a 5,210 square foot detached garage with lounge and wash bay.
No need drive to a gas station this home has a private gas pump.
The interior photos are only available through a non-disclosure agreement so we can only imagine what the inside looks like.
According to the listing, there are 14 to 18-foot unique custom moulded ceilings in every room, a gourmet kitchen and a “magnificent” primary suite.
The lower level has elevator access with a professional gym and spa, party room and games room.
A 24-seat home theatre has a 24-foot ceiling, 254-inch screen, and a Kaleidoscope movie server.
Outside, there is a full outdoor kitchen, a cabana with a 14-person hot tub and bar overlooking the heated pool.
As a bonus, there is a regulation-sized sports court with concussion-free flooring and a children’s playground.
