23-year-old Hamilton woman accused of human trafficking, assault

A 23-year-old Hamilton woman faces nearly a dozen charges concerning a human trafficking investigation.

Police say Dejanay General was involved in the trafficking of a female into the sex trade.

She faces the following charges:

• Aggravated Assault
• Assault with a Weapon
• Utter Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
• Fail to Comply Probation
• Fail to Comply with Release Order X2
• Trafficking in Persons
• Advertising Sexual Services
• Procuring for Sexual Services
• Material Benefit from Sexual Services
• Withholding or Destroying Documents
• Distribute Intimate Images without Consent
