The Hamilton Police Service used social media to make an example of one driver accused of stunt driving on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.

The 5:42 a.m. tweet Monday morning was accompanied by a photo showing the 17-year-old driver clocked at 152 km/h in a 90 zone.

Police say the driver did not have proof of insurance.

The penalty for stunt driving – or travelling 50 km/h over the posted limit – includes a licence suspension and vehicle impoundment. Drivers can also face jail time, a fine of up to $10,000, and a 100 per cent increase in their insurance rates.
