After a search of the Augusta Street and John Street South area, Mary Curran, 34, was found and arrested on Wednesday, Hamilton Police said.

Curran was arrested without incident, police said.

Police put out an alert for Curran on Tuesday after a police cruiser was rammed in Hamilton’s East End.

Curran faces charges of escape lawful custody, in addition to the charges previously laid including operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drug; flight from police; dangerous operation of a motor vehicle; possession of property obtained by crime; and fail to comply with a release order.
