Arson suspect wanted in Hamilton

The search is on for the suspect of an early morning home arson in Hamilton last month.

A home near Tim Hortons Field was set ablaze on Aug. 23. Around 6 a.m. surveillance cameras captured a man on the home’s front porch lighting several items on fire while the occupant was asleep.

The suspect then walked away southwards. Hamilton Police describe the man as a slender man with a possible sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, a dark mask, a blue coat with a white emblem and a white zipper, torn blue jeans and white shoes. He also carried a backpack with “KD” emblazoned on it.
